SDCO has announced the launch of a joint collaboration with the Iraqi Engineers union to deliver NFPA-accredited training programs, in its capacity as an NFPA Authorized Training Provider in Iraq.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to developing the fire protection and safety sector, and elevating the technical knowledge of engineers and professionals in this field, by providing specialized training programs covering more than 300 NFPA codes and standards.

The programs target various related engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and architectural engineering, as well as all individuals interested in or working within the fields of design, installation, inspection, maintenance, and management of fire protection systems.

The training programs are further distinguished by the fact that all courses are delivered by NFPA-certified and approved instructors. Upon completing the program requirements and passing the accredited assessments, participants receive a certificate issued by NFPA, in addition to a certificate from the Iraqi Engineers union.

SDCO affirms that this collaboration represents an important step toward supporting national competencies, reinforcing the application of international standards, and advancing engineering practices in the fire and safety sector within Iraq.
